Who we are

What the App does

Krow helps you browse places, filter by type, and follow walk-in guidance using Apple MapKit on your iPhone.

Information we use

Location: with your permission, Krow uses your device location to show nearby places and walking guidance. You can deny or revoke location access in iOS Settings. Without location permission, map-related features may be limited.

Places and preferences you save in the App: stored on your device for the App to function.

We do not require an account. We do not ask for your name, email, or payment details inside the App (App Store purchases are handled by Apple).

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal data.

We do not show third-party advertising in Krow.

We do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers in the App.

We do not operate a Krow account server that stores your places for us.

Apple services

Krow uses Apple frameworks such as MapKit. Apple may process data under Apple’s terms and privacy policy when those services are used (for example map tiles and routing). See Apple’s privacy information for details on system services.

Data storage and retention

App content you create or save stays on your device unless you delete it or remove the App. Uninstalling Krow removes App data stored on that device, subject to normal iOS behaviour (for example backups you control).

Children

Krow is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy when the App or our practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
